Summer 2025Program for Middle School and Senior High School TeachersJuly 28-31 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)in the RUSMP classroom, 5615 Kirby Drive, Suite 300This program is designed for mathematics teachers who want to examine the vertical alignment of proportion and dependency relations and rate of change from an advanced perspective.Activities focus on these important topics as they relate to the concept of function.The topics that will be explored in this program include:• Proportional and non-proportional relations• Rate of change• Dependency relations • Finite differences and constant ratios• Continuous and discrete functions• Multiple representations• Use of manipulatives and technology Each teacher will receive program materials and professional development credit.Enrollment is limited.The fee for this program is $1,200. An invoice for this amount will be sent to your school. Payment must be made prior to the first class meeting.
