39th Summer Campus Program for Grades 2-12 Mathematics Teachers

RUSMP’s 2025 Summer Campus Program for Grades 2-12 Mathematics Teachers will take place online, July 7-18. Sessions will take place 9 a.m. - noon (Mondays-Fridays) with individual/group work noon – 3 p.m. for three separate classes: The Elementary Grades (Grades 2-5), The Middle Grades through Prealgebra, and Algebra I - Calculus/Statistics. The content focus this summer is “Integrating Algebra, Geometry, and Number through STEAM.”

Teachers will develop:
• A deep understanding of and skills to implement high-quality mathematics curriculum, instruction, appropriate technology integration, and assessment (including data-informed decision-making)
• A repertoire of research-based methods for motivating and supporting all students to persist and achieve in mathematics with a special focus on motivating underrepresented minorities in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)

Class discussions on current issues in mathematics education will energize and empower teachers. The classes will be facilitated by award-winning RUSMP Master Teachers and Rice University Faculty.

Each teacher will receive 60 CPE hours and program materials for their participation during the Summer Campus Program. In addition, Houston ISD will award 6 hours of GT credit. Additional CPE hours will be awarded for attendance during the RUSMP Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 Networking Conferences.

Enrollment is limited.

The fee for this program is $1,800. UPON YOUR REGISTRATION, AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT TO YOUR SCHOOL/DISTRICT. Please make sure that funds are secured before completing registration.
