Register for J Visa Scholar Fee

A one-time administrative intake fee is required for each incoming J Exchange Visitor to Rice University (this does not include full-time registered J students). This cost will help offset Rice resources necessary for increased compliance mandates.

For Visiting International Undergraduate Researchers (VIURs), the fee includes the administrative fee and the Visiting Student Application fee. Both fees must be paid together, so make sure to select the correct Registration Type.
