Register for REMS Heartsaver First Aid (October 23, 2025)

Rice EMS will be offering the Heartsaver First Aid class on Thursday, October 23. The class is priced at $40 for current Rice students/faculty/staff and $60 for public registrants.

Students will complete an online Canvas module and quiz prior to meeting on-campus for in-person skills testing. Access to the module and the location of the skills testing will be provided one week prior to the selected skills testing date.

Skills Testing Dates for First Aid:
Thursday, October 23, 2025, 5:00-6:30 pm

Please pay the non-refundable class cost before the class date using this form.

The First Aid courses will cover the basic steps that should be taken for medical emergencies, including allergic reactions, cuts, choking, and more. At course completion, students will receive a certification card that is valid for two years.
