Register for REMS Heartsaver First Aid (June 30, 2026)

Rice EMS will be offering the Heartsaver First Aid class on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The class is priced at $40 for current Rice students/faculty/staff and $60 for public registrants. Registration closes 1 week prior to the class date. Individuals who wish to register after the deadline should email remscpr@gmail.com.

Students will complete an online Canvas module and quiz prior to meeting on-campus for in-person skills testing. Access to the module and the location of the skills testing will be provided one week prior to the selected skills testing date.

Skills Testing Dates for First Aid:
Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 5:00- 7:00 pm

Please pay the non-refundable class cost before the class date using this form.

The First Aid courses will cover the basic steps that should be taken for medical emergencies, including allergic reactions, cuts, choking, and more. At course completion, students will receive a certification card that is valid for two years.
